You know why it’s so hard to trust people nowadays?
Because hardly anyone stick by their words. Because nobody wants to keep their hopes up then later crash with disappointments. Because nobody wants to deal with the same pain they had before. Because nobody wants to put up with some words that doesn’t have anything meaning behind it–nobody wants to believe in such lies. Because nobody wants to go through the same mistakes again and again, but even with doing so, they eventually learn something new each time it happens, even if it’s repetitive.
Because with trust, there’s always walls that takes time for you to build down into a bridge so someone can cross it. Because when it comes to trust, everyone have their own insecurities and pain to conquer. Because when it all builds down to trust, it’s hard to gain, but so easy to lose in a matter of seconds. Because when it all boils down with trust, there’s always something that have create them the way they are now.
Trust tend to get torn, because of heartbreaks, broken promises, lies, people abandoning others, secrets, stories of the past, death, hatred, and so much more. Trust isn’t given out so easily as easy as finding a penny on the ground. Trust takes so much more nowadays, because nobody knows who to turn to, so they end up trusting the only person who a lot of people defines–themselves.
Trust have a lot of boundaries and it takes a lot to earn one, so when someone trusts you or when you find someone to trust; keep them by you, let them know a new definition of trust. Don’t let it fall apart and get crumbled up again, keeping them in the dark.
